Although small, there is lots to see in Jersey! You can take your car when travelling by ferry, or if you travel as a foot passenger you have the option to discover the island on foot, by bicycle or bus. There is a great bus network, and numerous walks and cycle lanes, allowing you to discover the island.

Getting around by car

You can take your car, motorhome or caravan onboard Condor Ferries or alternatively hire a car when you arrive at Jersey airport.

Discovering Jersey by car allows you to discover the winding lanes and beautiful scenery in Jersey. You can drive across the length of Jersey in just 30 minutes. In Jersey, they drive on the left with the islands speed limit set to 40 mph / 64 km per hour.

If you’re bringing your car, you will need to bring a valid driving licence and you’ll need to display a nationality plate on the back of your vehicle.
