Do you need a passport to go to Guernsey?
When travelling onboard Condor Ferries from the UK to Guernsey, you won’t require a passport to enter for adults or children, however, you will be required to bring photo ID if you’re 16 years or older. You will need to bring a valid photo ID from the list of accepted identification below:
Accepted travel documents include:
A valid passport (i.e. in date)
An expired passport (domestic sailings only, up to two years after expiry)
Common law passport
Valid EU or Swiss national identity card
Valid driving licence (full or Provisional are accepted)

Please note that all photo ID must be legible and undamaged, otherwise you will not be able to travel. All forms of ID must be valid and in date. An expired passport will be accepted for domestic sailings only, up to two years after expiry. Please note that digital copies of your photo ID are not acceptable.

If you’re travelling to Guernsey from outside of the UK, regardless of your nationality you will require a valid passport.
Do you need a visa to visit Guernsey?
UK residents do not need a visa, however if you’re travelling from outside of the UK and you have a UK visit visa, this will allow you to visit Guernsey without the need for a separate visa. If you require a visit visa for the UK, you will need this to enter Guernsey. If you’re unsure whether you need one, please check thegovernment website.

The currency used in Guernsey is Pounds Sterling, Guernsey has its own currency, the Guernsey pound. The Great British Pound can be used in Guernsey, along with the Jersey pound however the Jersey and Guernsey pound cannot be used in the UK.

Can I take my dog to Guernsey?
Yes, you can bring your dog to visit Guernsey onboard Condor Ferries. We recommend you get a nose-to-tail health check on your dog. They won’t require a pet passport, but you’ll have to notify us before travel.
