Please get in touch before booking should you wish to bring a dog, as only certain rooms are dog friendly. Bookings made without contacting us first are not guaranteed. Travelling to Guernsey with your pet

Important information to note:

  • We don't allow pets in our passenger lounges, apart from recognised assistance dogs.
  • If you're travelling on foot, then your pet must be in a cage that meets RSPCA requirements.
  • They'll be kept in the dedicated pet area of our car decks - you'll be able to visit them with a member of staff during your sailing.
  • If you're travelling by car, please leave water & your windows open slightly for a fresh sea breeze.
  • If you want to travel with your pets a little closer to you, Condor Islander has our first pet-friendly cabins.

Requirements

  • We recommend getting your dog a quick nose-to-tail health check before you travel.
  • Check microchip details, insurance, and vaccines are up to date
  • Flea and worming treatment before travel.

Onboard

  • Pets must stay on the car deck for the sailing
  • You can visit them whilst escorted by a member of staff (weather-dependent)
  • We will be checking up on your pets at regular intervals during the sailing.
  • If you're staying in one of the pet-friendly cabins on Condor Islander, please ensure that your dog is muzzled when outside your vehicle.

Pet essentials

  • When packing, it's good to make sure that you have a checklist of all the necessary items you may need including:
  • Enough food
  • Waste bags
  • Their leash and collar with ID tags
  • Cleaning items if required
